Project Management
Maintenance and Inspection Unit of Project Management Section is responsible
for coordinating and attending to all complaints received within the Defects Liability
Period (DLP) as stated in the contract. During DLP period the contractor will be
responsible for the rectification of all defects within the 9 months period after
the date of project completion. Types of complaints are:
- Cracks of walls / Floor / Drain
- Roof leakage
- Pipe leakage (inside lot area)
- Blockage of sewerline (inside lot area)
- Gully Trap / Floor Trap blockage
- Water puddle (inside lot area)
- Electrical faulty
- Poor / unhealthy turf
A part from the above complains, the MIU also received complaints from public and
contractor as below:
1. Complaints from public involving contractor:
- Contractor not maintaining the cleanliness of road i.e. from mud and construction
debris
- Dumping of construction debris
- Lack or safety measures for public
2. Complaints from contractor involving public:
- Obstruction of construction works
- Vandalism
- Trespassing the construction site
- Dumping of rubbish in the construction area
